Hello
I am the development officer for Stonebow Field Archers based just outside of Thirsk in North Yorkshire.
We are one of only a few field clubs in the Yorkshire Area and we are extending a welcome to all archery clubs (field or otherwise) to come and join us one weekend for some fun in the woods!
For those who don’t know much about field archery, our course is laid out in a private wood on a farm, consists of 36 unmarked distance 'big game' targets (pictures of animals & some 3D targets), the course is flat but challenging and we have our own clubhouse (caravan) for those who want a break and a cuppa!.
Although affiliated to the NFAS we welcome GNAS members. Shooting fees for visitors is £3 for adults £1.50 for juniors. Many clubs come to join us for a fun days shooting, and if you would like to organize some of your members for a specific weekend we can ensure that they will have a great time.
Just don’t bring your best arrows!
